British Airways, Kingfisher Airlines become family

From Wednesday next week, September 15, British Airways and India's Kingfisher Airlines will share bookings, frequent flyer schemes and lounge access on cheaper flights across India, Sri Lanka, the United Kingdom and Europe. BA has been flying to India for 80 years keeping post-colonial ties tight. They already fly from Heathrow to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai but now its passengers won't have to switch baggage tags to carry on to 11 domestic Indian routes including Kolkata, Goa, Coimbatore, Kochi and Colombo in Sri Lanka. read more
