Not a superstar cameo-packed mini-movie, nor a spot on the biggest show on TV nor a fawning media blitz are enough to knock British songbird Adele from the top of the heap. For the seventh week since its release, the singer's 21 will sit in the #1 position on the Billboard 200 albums chart, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

Thanks to another 155,000 in sales, Adele cruised past the 1.5 million mark and held off a stampede of new faces in the top 10.

Well behind at #2 are the Beastie Boys with Hot Sauce Committee Part 2 (128,000), followed by the NOW 38 collection (#3, 124,000) and the chart debut of the well-received second album from hirsute folk rockers Fleet Foxes, Helplessness Blues (#4, 91,000). Despite a high-profile slot on the "American Idol" judging panel, Jennifer Lopez's latest, Love?, didn't get much affection at retail, moving 83,000 copies to land at #5, ahead of the debut of Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks' In Your Dreams (#6, 52,000) and Sade's Ultimate Collection (#7, 38,000).

Also making their first appearances in the top 10 are the latest from R&B smoothie Musiq Soulchild, Musiqinthemagiq (#8, 35,000), and This Is Gonna Hurt, the new effort from Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx's side band, Sixx:A.M. (#10, 30,000).

The only other holdover in the top 10 is the unstoppable Sigh No More from Mumford & Sons (#9, 32,000).

Britney Spears' Femme Fatale takes a big tumble from the top of the charts, falling 16 spots to #20, shedding more than 30 percent of the previous week's business on sales of 21,000 for a six-week total of just under 500,000. On the opposite swing, Lady Antebellum's year-old Need You Now is up 16 slots to #27 (19,000, up 63 percent) thanks to an appearance on "Idol."

Adele keeps it locked down again on the iTunes charts as well, topping the album tally, where she was followed by the Beasties, the surging classic Rumours by Fleetwood Mac (thanks to "Glee"), then Foxes, Lopez, the "American Idol" top five digital compilation, Mumford & Sons, Nicks, Soulchild and Sixx:A.M.

On the iTunes singles chart, Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" keeps its kung fu grip on the top, beating out Lady Antebellum's new single "Just a Kiss," Katy Perry's "E.T.," Bruno Mars' "The Lazy Song," David Guetta's "Where Them Girls At," Lopez's "On the Floor," Pitbull's "Give Me Everything," the Black Eyed Peas' "Just Can't Get Enough," Ke$ha's "Blow" and Chris Brown's "Look at Me Now."

Look for the second Lonely Island disc next week, along with albums from Odd Future's Tyler the Creator, and the debuts from Christina Perri and "Glee" castmember Matthew Morrison.

What do Britney Spears and Usher have in common? Well, they are both global superstars with a back catalogue of tunes that have kept fans dancing for a really long time and they both recently hooked up with will.i.am for tracks on their latest releases (the Black Eyed Peas mastermind worked on the pop vixen's Femme Fatale tune "Big Fat Bass"). And, if Spears has her way, she and the "OMG" singer could be hitting the road together.

When Spears sat down to talk with Sway Calloway for her "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale" special — airing Sunday (April 3) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV — the singer revealed that Usher is first on her list of artists she'd like to join her on tour.

"Oh, I'm so excited. I'm really excited about going on tour, very," she explained about her forthcoming summer trek, which happens to have a spot open on the bill now that Enrique Iglesias has pulled out of the gig. "I think Usher's really great right now. I think he's really hot right now. That would be cool [to tour with him]."

The North American road trip is expected to kick off June 17 in Sacramento, California, and will run for 26 dates, winding up on August 13 in Toronto. More details will be announced soon.

The "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale" special is a mixture of behind-the-scenes footage of the singer as she wraps up production on her album, which dropped this week, as well as an inside look at her life and fans. In addition, those who couldn't make Spears' recent nightclub show in Las Vegas will get to see her as she takes the stage in her latest pop incarnation.

Don't miss "Britney Spears: I Am the Femme Fatale," airing Sunday (April 3) at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.

'Thor' Storms Past 'Fast Five' At Box Office

Wedding-themed 'Jumping the Broom,' 'Something Borrowed' follow far behind.

The "god of thunder" stormed the box office over the weekend as comic book fans and other moviegoers rained $66 million upon theaters to see "Thor." The latest big-screen adaptation of a beloved Marvel Comics superhero, this one drawn from Norse mythology, kicked off the summer movie season as the #1 movie in America, according to studio estimates.

Alas, a pair of romantic comedies proved to be no match against Thor's power. "Jumping the Broom" opened at #3 with $13.7 million, while "Something Borrowed," based on Emily Giffin's best-selling novel, came in fourth place with $13.1 million. Co-starring rom-com veteran Kate Hudson, "Borrowed" was far behind the $21.1 million her "Bride Wars" took in when it opened in 2009, or the similar numbers generated by "Fool's Gold" the year before.

"Thor" launches a potential franchise for Disney-owned Marvel Studios and serves as yet another piece of the comic-book-like continuity tapestry leading to 2012's "The Avengers." That ambitious movie recently started shooting and will unite Thor with Marvel heroes like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Captain America (Chris Evans), whose own movie arrives on July 22. "Thor" benefited greatly from the critic-approved charisma of newcomer Chris Hemsworth in the title role and the Shakespearean sensibilities of director Kenneth Branagh. Technology didn't hurt, either, as roughly 60 percent of the film's business came courtesy of 3-D.

The opening-weekend numbers for "Thor" weren't as impressive as the franchise launching "Spider Man," "Iron Man," "Hulk" or "X-Men," but certainly stronger than "Ghost Rider" and "Daredevil." The movie's $66 million debut is more than the total gross of any other film Branagh has directed and bodes well for Hemsworth's future. The Australian actor already has the "Red Dawn" remake in the can, as well as "Cabin in the Woods," which was co-written by "Avengers" director Joss Whedon.

"Fast Five" was #2 with $32.5 million (for a $139.8 million total), although it beat "Thor" overseas as it expanded into more territories. The movie still boasts the biggest opening of 2011 thus far, and its 62 percent second week drop-off isn't any different than the last one, "Fast and Furious," which reunited Vin Diesel and Paul Walker after two sequels spent apart.

The animated "Rio" was #5, with $8.2 million for a $114.9 million total. Meanwhile, the Jodie Foster-directed dark dramedy "The Beaver," starring Mel Gibson, opened with $104,000, which even in limited release at just 22 locations is a disappointingly low number for all involved.

Next weekend's new releases include post-apocalyptic vampire flick "Priest," the Judd Apatow-produced comedy "Bridesmaids," heavy-metal infused indie "Hesher" and "Everything Must Go," which stars Will Ferrell in a dramatic role as a relapsing alcoholic whose life is falling apart.

Check out everything we've got on "Thor."

Usher Gets Sick, Walks Offstage Mid-Show In Berlin

Usher was forced to delay the kick off of his European OMG Tour on Wednesday night in Berlin because of illness. In a statement released to fans, the singer apologized for the last-minute scratch, saying he felt he was suffering from a "sinus complication." Although the gig was rescheduled for Thursday night at the O2 World arena in Berlin, his German fans apparently weren't appeased by his effort.

"I am truly sorry to all my fans in Berlin who were inconvenienced by tonight's postponement of the show," the singer said in a statement about Wednesday's aborted concert. "I was ill and felt that I would not have been able to give them the show that they properly deserve. ... I am looking forward to performing tomorrow and giving Berliners a great show."

According to the statement, the singer received treatment from doctors for a sinus issue that affected his balance, but a visibly still-ailing Usher was unable to finish the Thursday make-up show, reportedly abandoning the stage after just five songs.

On Friday (January 14), a follow-up statement from his spokesperson confirmed that he was too ill to play Thursday night's Berlin date and has been forced to reschedule the next three dates on the tour as well. The Rotterdam show originally scheduled for this week has been moved to March 1 and a show in Antwerp, also slated for this week, has been bumped to March 7.

The statement also updated the singer's condition: "Usher is suffering from upper respiratory illness, which is currently preventing him from performing a proper show. After consultation with doctors, he has been advised to reschedule the upcoming dates in order to get the rest he needs to ensure a complete recovery."

Footage posted on YouTube that was purportedly taken at the make-up performance in Berlin shows Usher standing silently at the microphone seemingly unable to sing, with fans booing him at first and then chanting, "Usher, Usher," as he approaches the microphone and apologizes to them for his struggles. "I appreciate your support," he told the fans wearily.

"I have been very excited about my European Tour and I deeply regret having to reschedule the shows," the singer said in the new statement. "I am truly sorry for any inconvenience I have caused my fans. My fans are the best in the world and I am looking forward to getting better so that I can give them the show they deserve."

Usher wrapped up the North American leg of his tour in December and his overseas dates are slated to last through the spring.

What do you think of the fans' reaction to Usher's walking offstage mid-show? Tell us in the comments.
